After your recipient has received their unique gift code, they can redeem it against 1,000’s of gift experiences. With that much choice it might take them a little while to decide, which is why they’ve got a whole 24 months to use their code. Nice!

How do gift experience vouchers work?

Gift experience vouchers from Gift Experience Days work in three steps. First, the buyer chooses a gift box at their preferred price tier, from £49 to £299, and completes their purchase online. Second, a digital gift card is emailed instantly, which the buyer can forward directly to the recipient or send themselves at the right moment. Third, the recipient uses their unique code to browse the experiences available in their box, selects the one they want, and books it online for a date and time that suits them. The buyer chooses the budget; the recipient chooses the experience.

Can I send a gift experience box by email?

Yes. All Gift Experience Days gift boxes are delivered digitally,. there is no physical product to post or collect. Once your purchase is complete, you receive the gift voucher by email immediately. You can then forward it directly to the recipient, print it out to hand over in person, or hold onto it and send it at the right time, such as on their birthday or the morning of a celebration.

What's included in a gift experience box?

Each gift experience box gives the recipient access to a curated selection of experiences chosen to suit the box tier and recipient type. Experiences span categories including driving and motorsport days, flying lessons, spa and relaxation breaks, food and drink events, creative workshops, short UK getaways, and more. The recipient browses the full selection available in their specific box and chooses one experience to book. Higher price tiers, Select at £199 and Signature at £299, unlock a broader and more premium range of options.

How long is the gift voucher valid for?

Every Gift Experience Days voucher is valid for 24 months from the date of purchase, giving the recipient two full years to browse, choose, and book their experience. This is twice as long as many other experience gift providers, making it well suited to recipients whose schedules are busy or unpredictable, or for gifts purchased well ahead of an occasion.

Can the recipient choose their own experience?

Yes, that's the entire point of the gift box model. Rather than the buyer having to guess which specific experience the recipient would enjoy, the box gives the recipient a curated selection to choose from themselves. They browse the experiences available in their box, pick the one that appeals to them most, and book it directly. It removes the guesswork for the buyer and guarantees the recipient gets something they actually want.

Do I need to choose a date or location when I buy?

No. When you purchase a gift experience box, you don't need to commit to any specific date, location, or activity. That's all handled by the recipient when they come to redeem their voucher. They choose their preferred experience from the options in their box and book directly at a time and place that works for them. This makes experience boxes genuinely flexible gifts, not ones that require upfront planning or coordination.

What happens after the recipient receives their gift code?

Once the recipient has their unique gift code, they visit the redemption site and enter it to unlock their box. They'll see the full range of experiences available to them based on their box tier. They select the experience they want, follow the booking process for that activity, and confirm their preferred date and location. The entire redemption process is handled online and does not require any further action from the gift buyer.

What if the recipient can't find an experience they want?

Each gift box contains a range of experiences across multiple categories, so there's variety built in by design.
